Responsibilities:
* Perform and supervise rig moves of jack-ups in our worldwide fleet
* Supervise marine and maintenance crews on assigned rig
* Prepare and maintain rig’s marine-related documents and certificates
Requirements:
* Marine license issued by recognized maritime administration preferred, but other licenses will be considered
* Excellent working knowledge of ballast control systems and procedures
* Management and supervisory experience with good written and oral communication skills
* Strong technical and report writing skills
* Basic computer skills and good working knowledge of MS Office applications
* Legally entitled to work in the United States and the ability to obtain a passport for required

I am presently working for GPS International as OIM aboard the Vessel GPS 1, currently working for Murphy Oil in Malaysia.
I have sound experience in marine and related offshore industries, having previously worked for ten years as an appointed Marine Captain onboard the Semi-Submersible Tender West Pelaut and West Setia, contracted to Brunei Shell.
I am responsible for motivating and developing multi-skilled teams of engineers
and implementing quality assurance policies. I manage specialist engineering projects
to dismantle complex technical equipments or upgrade them to ABS classification standards.
I coordinate all major installation projects for marine structuring, engines of tanks/vessels
My remits also include investigating corporate negligence cases and personal accidents within offshore settings. I am responsible for assimilating information on incidents, liaising with legal and company representatives and compiling comprehensive reports.
