Job Description:
We are looking to recruit Drilling Engineers for various International positions.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the operational efficiency to engineer, plan and cost all drilling activities.
Key Qualities:
* Experienced and proactive with a minimum of 6 years experience in Drilling Operations.
* Degree in Engineering, and experience with a major oil company.
* Perform well designs and drilling programmes and assist in the execution of the agreed programmes and software.
* Advise in the planning and safe execution of the well construction activities.
* Provide engineering support to the drilling operations and ensure the delivery of well objectives is compliant with relevant policies and regulations.
* Support the Operations Manager in obtaining technical and budgetary approval.
* Recommend best development concept for present and future wells as well as best rig concept.
* Effective communicator/influencer at all levels and strong negotiation skills.
* Visit sites to review and monitor progress and ensure appropriate levels of reporting are maintained to the Operations Manager.
